Give-aways for the Prospective Probate Clients

The Estate Consultation Package

The Estate Consultation Package is specifically for the prospective probate clients. It contains the give-aways I want to leave with them. The package includes helpful advice about how to prepare the property, and other documentation about me.  It is not an uncommon practice in this industry to leave marketing materials. Most good agents will leave marketing materials for prospective real estate clients. The Personal Representative may be considering other agents. Therefore, I want to make sure that my material stands out in the stack of folders, files, cards, and brochures that other agents have left. I want the prospective probate clients to be able to compare what I bring to the process of selling their property against what the other agents or investors have to offer.

Prior to 90 Minute Action Plan – Estate Consultation Package

Once I have an appointment to meet with the Personal Representative I begin preparing for the appointment following my Prior to the 90 Minute Consultation Action Plan. There are a lot of steps in this plan, including preparing the Estate Consultation Package. Below are samples of the give-aways I include in the package.

State Probate Codes – Links for the Real Estate Agent

All states have probate to handle the transfer of estates in a smooth and supervised manner. The courts may have different names, such as Probate Court, Surrogate Court, Family Court. Whatever the name, the probate process is basically the same – pay the debts and transfer property to the heirs or beneficiaries.

However, there are variations from state to state, and within different jurisdictions on the probate procedures. This training does not attempt to explain the variations in probate procedures for individual states or probate courts. This Quick Card contains links to the online Probate Codes for each of the 50 States.
